American car company Buick will soon release its new product, a crossover named Buick Anthem. It will be a mix of two known models, GMC Terrain and Chevrolet Equinox, since it shares their platform. It is planned that this car should fill the gap between a big Enclave and smaller Encore vehicles. The manufacturers are hoping that this midsize SUV can be successful on the market, especially in China. It is possible that its name will be changed with the beginning of the sale, and some of other options are Enspire and Envision. Some of its main rivals will be Lexus NX, Nissan Infiniti EX, Linkoln MKC and Acura RDX.
2015 Buick Anthem Crossover – Design
Many details regarding the design of the 2015 Buick Anthem are still unknown. As mentioned, it will be based on a new platform called D2UKS. It comes with a lot of upgrades, such as reshaped LED lights, a new grille, bumpers and mirrors. Wheels will be 18-inch alloy. The cabin is spaciuos and luxurious, only top quality materials used on the surfaces. The new Anthem comes with many useful technology features, such as rear-view camera, cruise control, satellite radio and many more. Also, it will include 360 degree Lidar „camera“, which is also used by Google autonomous cars. Anthem will be the second car that will use this technology.
2015 Buick Anthem Crossover – Powertrain
The manufacturers have yet to confirm which engines will be placed under the hood of the new Buick Anthem. According to speculations, it will be powered by a 2.5 L 4-cylinder with 195 hp. Other reports suggest that it will be equipped with a 2.0 L 4-cylinder engine with 259 hp. Some also mention a 3.6-liter V6 which comes with AWD option. The engine will be paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox. Also, there are reports that a plug-in hybrid model could also be offered.

The release date, as well as the price, of the 2015 Buick Anthem Crossover are still not known. The sale should start by the end of the 2014, or in the beginning of next year.
